was working on nanyang's physics prelim paper 07, some question on current electricity, when suddenly i was reminded of they'll know we are christians - the hymn, for some unknown reason. click here to hear a song version, the hymn is actually faster & more positive, it's meant to be a spirited song for the church to show that as a family in Christ we're together.

but i like the slow version in all its emoness - we, as a church, are meant to stay together despite hardship, pain & trouble, not only in the good times. sometimes i wonder if our church is on track & whether non-believers view us as a group bonded by love, or simply yet another religion trying to extort money and energy from each other.

we are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord (x2)
and we pray that one day unity may be restored

18 days to EOYs
actually, music's in 7 days and bsp's in 5, but i choose to delude myself.

on a sidenote, i shall not be going on MSN on weekdays at anytime except 10 - 11 every night! might be at the comp doing work so email me (kuz gmail's normally open) if there's anything. if you see me on MSN before 10 or after 11 from mon-fri, CHASE ME OFF.

to cheer myself up, i've decided to list 10 things i'm super grateful for, & that i feel blessed about:

1. God :) need i say more? thanks for the revival Lord!

2. family! love.

3. BBPC YF - my 2nd family! haha can't wait for prayer mtgs, mooncake party, 5th sunday bowling outing, and many more good things to come - CAMP! and church's a gorgeous recluse.

4. friends - esp. all you lovely folks who're going through eoys too. we suffer together!

5. thai noodle house tomyam, coro fries, near-church bubble tea, shop n save sushi, breadtalk hokkaido dome, rojak, banmian, laksa, home-cooked stuff :) things that've sustained me recently

6. dvorak's 7th, 8th, 9th symphonies

7. piano, guzheng for being so understanding how i've been abandoning them. i promise i'll be back after the 9th of Oct!

8. the invention of the computer and the printer. internet too.

9. chirpy birds, laughing kids, disgusting bugs, disease-carrying mosquitoes, grumpy ahmas, underage couples, happy families, noisy dogs. life in general.

10. that 9th October, 10.31pm (date and time of liberation) is 29 days away!
